Not helping... Not helping me feel "awesome".... Very few days are actually awesome so, whilst it's OK to 'wish' someone has an awesome day, stating it - saying "Have an awesome day" - makes me feel like I *should* be having a day that's way-better than just 'OK'... It's a lot of pressure...
Please do continue to hope/wish everyone has a day that's awesome...
Please stop making people think that a sub-awesome day isn't good enough...

This Vapor wave stuff always brings up the memories of those I lost in the last 4 years. I always remembered asking my Mom as a kid late at night, why she would stay up so late and cry alone? She would say she misses her Mom and sometimes needs time alone to grieve. I now know the feeling of what it’s like to have those sleepless nights, and now the person sitting at the kitchen table late at night missing my own mother.
As kids, we only wonder why.
As adults, we then experience it ourselves. This track sure brings it out of you huh?

@@MCDuncan08very wise. We are our parents legacy. My mom passed about 13 years ago and to me she’s not gone. She is with me always because I was literally a part of her and she will always be a part of me.

After my Mom passed away i was going through the grieving process. And my brother brought up the simple fact that i would soon be with her. That hit me. Now i don't grieve. I only reminisce. We will all be joining the other side sooner than we think..

I was just listening to one of my all-time-favourites - Joe Harnells "The Lonely Man" Theme - (Rest in Peace, Bill Bixby & Harnell) when this video showed up. Even though there is no big orchestra behind, sometimes all it needs is a dedicated composer with lots of feeling and sense. Beautiful and relaxing music. Thank you for your inspiration and sharing!

It is a game exactly that, I love the "simulation" comparison. You create your reality, if you don't like your life, make a change. Some situations make you feel trapped, but the only thing that truly matters is your health and relationships. Everything else is temporary.

Rick Ingemi....my step father but ...he was my Father. I love him and I hate that hind sight is 20/20 because I never knew how for me he was. I often felt picked on or picked out to jab at. But the fact is, he was the only one he spent countless hours online looking at rehabs and methadone and it's effects because he knew I would get addicted. In 2006 he attempted suicide and just about succeeded but I found him and they saved him. I thought he was fine. I never realized how the trauma of the first suicide attempt that nearly took him ran our connection. I was so afraid of losing the one father I had and I needed him to know so many things. I know you are with me sometimes and To me you are Dad. I'm sorry you were hurting here and I hope your spirit knows peace that surpasses all understanding. Infinitely grateful I had you in my life. I used to hold onto everything that weighed on me, because the pain reminded me i was still alive. Geadully it got harder and harder to hang onto those feelings, because i began to find context for everything that happened. Everything happens for a reason, even if the reason is meaningless. Eventually it all falls away, and i am glad i didnt let it take me under with it. I wish more people were as lucky as me. It does get better, but its like walking over sharp stones with no shoes. Never give up, because you can do it too. You got this far. The rest is easy.
I hope to anyone who needs it, that you'll find the person that cares about you, but not from the internet, but find someone in real life. I feel like this guy, alone looking at those high rise buildings. Hoping to be there someday. But I have no where yo go, praying someday a ship would spot me and take me away from this deserted shore. But no one comes, somedays I think of taking a step forward into the water and end it all but can't get courage to do it, there's always a voice that says me to wait for that long awaited ship.
